more workouts!

1/30 Sunday... went to the gym, walked for .75 miles for warm up, jogged 1 mile at 4.5 mph, then changed laundry loads and went back to the treadmill...ran 2 more miles at 4.5 mph, then cooled down for 15 minutes at 3.0... both warm up and cool down included 5-10 minutes of incline at 3.0-4.0, felt good, middle mile felt best... rt. shin hurt a bit, but not too bad on a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 2-3...

1/28 Friday... went to the gym, walked for .75 miles for warm up, jogged 2 miles in 26 m 30 s, and then walked close to 1.25 miles as a cool down, with part of both of the walks being uphill at 3.0-3.5 incline.  Felt good... though a 2 mile run doesn't get to that "easier place"... so it is like 25 minutes left, 24 minutes left, ugh... next run Sunday...

1/25 Tuesday... hard day at work, didn't eat soon enough before running and then drank 16 oz of water right before I started jogging... so I got a bad cramp and had to just jog through it... and my leg hurt a bit (rt shin), but I just kept saying, mental game, keep going)
Started with 15 minute, uphill walking warm up. 2 miles at 4.5 mph on level ground...fighting for it...25 minutes of walking for cool down... with some stretching in between before full cool down.  Then waited for the bus for 28 minutes. boo.  Forgot to ice, icing now...took an ibuprofen...

1/23 Sunday - Had an inspiring talk with my brother... need to step up my running a bit here... goal: not being injured...so this week I'm going to try to do that...Tues(2m), Thurs(2m), Sat(2m or more), Sun (elliptical or running)...

1/23 Sunday - 90 minutes of elliptical machining... 33 minutes of "fat burn"... then 9 minutes of ellipticalling at manual, stopped to fill water bottle, then back on the machine for 55 minutes? I'm not sure... It was a lot... I saw at least an entire episode of tabatha's salon makeover and half of a housewives of atlanta/interview on cnn...cuz housewives sucks. and then 15 minutes of stretching...

  1. I love seeing this stuff, Laura. It inspires me to be more consistent in my workouts every time I see it.

    Speaking of consistency, where are the February runs? :)
