more runs after Birthday Break!

4/24 Sunday - Okay... jogging may have gotten a little harder!  walked 2 miles, and then ran 2 miles in 23 minutes... which is 5.2 mph!  So maybe running faster made it a little harder?  Anyway, feeling good... traveled 4 miles!  Hopefully burned off some Easter chocolate!

4/22 Friday - Wow, it really doesn't feel like I haven't exercised in 11 days, lots of birthday fun, eating out, etc. ... but I took a few shorter walks with Mully on Wednesday... today I ran 1.65 miles...maybe I'll try to add in .5 miles later?  I don't know... For some reason I thought I was running longer... but hey, any running is better than no running!  Adding 3 to scheduling difficulties for the past week...

New Runs!

4/10 Sunday - traveled 4.43 miles... jogged 2 miles! With Mully, go Mully! Had some knee pain, so had to take a couple of breaks...hoping to work in more

4/8 Friday - 3.77 miles traveled... jogged 2.25 miles in 25 minutes! Go Laura!

Spring is here! Fun to run in the sun!

4/3 4.5 miles traveled during dog walk with Mully... probably only jogged 1.8-2.0 miles, but all of it faster than I would generally go... I was really pushing my lungs! Now icing my rt. shin, which is ouchy... on the way over there I felt a little pain in my right hip... hoping to use stretching/icing to avoid injuring!

4/2 Saturday - jogged nearly 2 miles, minimal warm up, minimal cool down, in a hurry, hope I don't hurt myself, last mile run in 12 minutes for a 5.0 mph pace

3/27 Sunday - Jogged with Mulligan Osher (Spring Spaniel) today... jogged 2-2.3 miles... traveled 4.85 miles! woweee! and it was so nice to have a doggy partner in crime, even when he sometimes wanted to go the wrong direction!

3/26 Saturday - I know I was at the gym for roughly 90 minutes... I was actually ellipticalling about 70 of those... go me! 70 minutes? that sounds insane!

3/25 Friday - Really thinking this weekend should involve three exercising days.  No reason it can't.  Jogged outside today, but miscalculated my distance, so I only ran 1.88 miles, in 23-24 minutes... which is under 13 minutes per mile... I felt pretty winded by the end...the way back is a bit of an incline I suspect.  But my legs felt good.  And I caught my breath quicker than usual.  Go team Laura!

3/20 Sunday - Laundry day...at the gym from 2:10 pm to 4:00pm...but I only kept track of roughly 70 minutes of ellipticalling... so it is a mystery what I was doing the other 40 minutes... Some of it may have been stretching/warming up... doing the laundry part, I don't know...just know I was tired after all of it.
